Korea Research Trip (‘19) fellow, Craig Wood, hosted a table and led a workshop for attendees at the Mississippi Council for the Social Studies Fall Conference held at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Increasing Awareness
Craig Wood hosted a table for WHDE and the KWLF at the Mississippi Council for the Social Studies. Those who stopped by the table were informed of what both organizations provide and the resources they offer.
Introducing Resources
Craig Wood introduced attendees at the workshop he led to WHDE and the KWLF by walking them through their respective websites and highlighting specific resources available for use. Attendees learned of the Korean Research Trip offered each year and of a funding source available to teachers through the Mapae Grant program.
